Embodied Senses

Embodied Senses is a workshop that offers a rich, experiential exploration of the body's inner knowing, throughout movement research, improvisation, the expressive language of emotion, and embodied somatic techniques. In this journey we'll investigate how breath, alignment, and movement are affected by emotional states, unlocking pathways to genuine expression. You'll learn to inhabit emotion physically and craft stories through movement to release life and honesty.

The session focuses on sensory awareness, emotional release, and personal creativity. The research invites participants to deepen their connection to sensation, imagination, and embodied presence, allowing movement to arise from lived experience rather than predefined forms.
Through guided scores, somatic exploration, individual and group research, the class creates a space for dancers to expand their creative agency and discover new relationships between perception, emotion, and movement.
Text and talkative tasks are also a significant part of the session, where movements through words and audio description features, will be proposed.
